Every year, American University's Student Union Board hosts their annual Battle of the Bands event. As their designer, I am responsible for conceptualizing and creating the designs used for the event.
This year, marketing director Rich Kepler and I wanted to take an approach inspired by former uses of sharing music. Vinyl records and cassette tapes have begun to see new popularity among music enthusiasts, and after researching the topic further it seems that floppy disks are quick to follow.
